Welcome to the October edition of the Indigo Healthy Value Newsletter.
Healthy Value Days (thats right Healthy Value DayS)
From October there will now be two Healthy Value Days every month. These are the opportunity for Gold Customers to get 10% off their shopping at Indigo. The new Healthy Value Day will be the 25th of each month. In December Christmas Eve will be a Healthy Value Day.
These are the Healthy Value Days before the end of the year:

Who Benefits From Being A Gold Customer?
Gold customers receive a 5% discount on all their purchases at Indigo Wholefoods. So anyone who regularly spends £10.50 per week will save £27.30 per year.
Gold customers receive a 10% discount on their purchases on the 10th and 25th of every month (Healthy Value Days) at Indigo Wholefoods. So anyone who regularly spends £22.50 per Healthy Value Day will save £27 per year.
Gold customers benefit from exclusive offers which change every other month. You may view the September/October offers by clicking here. There are usually 20 offers ranging from 10% to 50% off and this is in addition to the 5% or 10% discounts. So anyone who buys a single of each item on the September/October list on Healthy Value Day will save £11.57.
Gold customers receive a 10% discount on ‘whole case’ orders. We receive products in cases, usually 6 or 12 depending on the product. Any gold customer who pre-orders a case of any product we have on our shelves will receive a 10% discount. For example anyone who pre-orders a case of Equal Exchange Earl Grey Tea (6 x 50 bags) will pay £13.45 instead of £14.94 saving £1.49. Prices and case sizes available on request.
Gold customers receive a 10% discount on ‘bulk’ orders. We can order our wholefoods and flours in larger quantities. Common sizes are 1kg, 2kg, 3kg, 5kg, 10kg, 16kg and 25kg. For example anyone who pre-orders a 25kg sack of Doves Strong Wholewheat flour will pay £21.42 instead of £23.80 saving £2.38. Prices and quantities available on request.
Gold customers receive a free Indigo Wholefoods bag-for-life on joining. (Worth 99p)
Gold customers receive free access to the Indigo Healthy Value E-recipe book library. Over 75 recipe books, over 8000 recipes. All books are downloadable. (Worth over £350).
Gold customers, like all customers, can still benefit from the Healthy Value Discount Card. Receive a £5 discount for each completed discount card. One stamp is awarded for every £5 spent and the card is complete after 20 stamps.
The savings listed above amount to £420.73. The savings can be much greater. Upgrading to Gold Customer status costs £27 per year.

The Story of the White Poppy
White Poppies are for peace without violence.
White Poppies for Peace made their first appearance on Armistice Day 1933. With the rising domestic and international tensions at the time, concern grew that the war to end all wars, in which so many had died or languished in prison for refusing to fight, would now be followed by an even worse war. The white poppy was an expression of this concern, particularly for women - many of whom were mothers, sisters, widows and sweethearts of men harmed in the first world war.
The white poppy became a symbol of our inability to settle conflicts without resorting to killing. While the red poppy raises funds for the British Legion, the white poppy’s aim is to promote debate and rally support for resistance to war.
Hundreds of wars later, and the killing of more than 200 million people, the white poppy continues to be a reminder of the world’s failure to prevent war. It is a symbol of grief for everyone harmed by war but, more importantly, it represents a commitment to work for a world where conflicts will be resolved without violence and with justice.
