Take Folic Acid to Avoid Spina Bifida Birth Defects
A major new campaign by the Scottish Spina Bifida Association (SSBA) is calling for all women thinking of having children to take a Folic Acid supplement. The SSBA says that women should take 400 micrograms of Folic Acid per day from the time of stopping contraception until the 12th week of pregnancy.
